Our founder: A wealth of expertise

Brooke White is the visionary behind Bridging The Gap. Holding a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Brooke brings a depth of professional expertise in behaviour, inclusion, and structured programmes. Her extensive experience includes supporting sustainable systems within various educational settings, ensuring practical and impactful solutions for kaiako and tamariki.

Born from a clear and pressing need

The vision for Bridging The Gap emerged from a deep understanding of the challenges teachers face in strengthening school beginnings, without adding to their already significant demands. Brooke recognises the complexity of modern education balancing academic expectations, diverse needs, relational partnerships, and accountability. Her focus is on refinement, alignment, and purposeful implementation, not adding more initiatives.

Bridging theory and practice

Brooke’s approach directly bridges the space between theoretical knowledge and practical application, between intention and tangible action. She collaborates with educators and organisations to develop structured, relational foundations that significantly enhance transitions, clarify expectations, and embed consistency across all systems. Her philosophy champions the belief that strong beginnings shape long-term outcomes for everyone involved.

"At the heart of her work is a commitment to strengthening the adults within systems so that children can experience safe, inclusive, and high-quality educational beginnings. By bridging the gap between vision and everyday practice, Brooke supports lasting impact where it matters most."
